Description: SPHERES 1 is a collection of Range Murata's Last Exile character sketchwork presented like a portfolio workbook.

Details: This book is a portfolio-style doujinshi, wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve and closed with three ring ties. The cover has a metallic, reflective surface and does not bear any words or logos. Included are three, thick single-sided monotone images and 64 additional pages containing sketches that are divided among the following characters: Claus Valca, Lavie Head, Alvis Hamilton, Alexander Row, Dio Eraclea + Lucciora, and Mullin Shetland. The sketches are printed on off-white sheets with silver headers containing various character stats such as age, weight, etc. There is also a Creation section with detailed sketches of costumes and accessories. These illustrations are littered with sketch notes (in Japanese, of course.)
