DECEMBER 2004, [12/2004] - ARCHIVE OF UPDATES AND NEWS ITEMS.

[12/30/04]
COMIKET 67
[News]

As evidenced by several Yahoo! Japan auctions [ONE] [TWO] [THREE], Range Murata has released yet another SPHERES doujinshi... This newest release is labeled SPHERES Pre ++ and clocks in at a measly 24 pages. No idea about what kind of content is included, but it is surprising. Several of the listed auctions include robot Vol. 2 artwork, but it is not clear if they are postcards or fliers, or what have you. Another auction shows off a desktop calendar, but again, no idea what kind of content is included in this one.

One Tsukasa Bullet 2005 calendar auction is present thus far, and the picture includes some small... thing... next to the calendar. Probably some kind of free giveaway, but hopefully better images will pop up during the week.

A COMIKET 67 product page is now featured on Kacchu Musumu's home page. Samples of the Tsukasa Bullet 2005 calendar are available, and of other interest is the cover image for the group compilation doujinshi.

[Update]

Geneon's Region 1 release of Last Exile Vol. 7 will include a set of thirteen postcards featuring Murata's original R2 DVD cover art. It will be limited to 15,000 DVDs, however.

A sample page for robot Vol. 1 is now up. Plenty of pictures. Also, a doujinshi contribution page has been added, in light of the discovery of Drawing of ARTMAN, a compilation doujinshi featuring a few sketches by Murata and released at the most recent Comiket. [Thanks to TokyoCentral for bringing this to notice.]
